Lord Art History is an art advisory and education firm whose services include art acquisition, collection advisement, events, and custom travel itineraries.  Lord Art History creates education programs to introduce novice collectors to the art world.  For the seasoned collector, Lord Art History can assist with the acquisition of an object, installing a special work or arranging for the shipment of fragile art works.  Dr. Jill Marie Lord will use her expertise in art history and collecting to help her clients reach their goals.

Lord Art History provides clients with personalized services to meet their individual needs.  These services include finding an artwork to suit a client’s taste and budget, buying art at auction, collection management, art appraisal, art delivery and installation, and hosting virtual and in-person events.  

Where We’ve Been

Dr. Jill Marie Lord has over twenty years of experience as an art and architectural historian.  She has published articles and reviews in publications such as the Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians, Arris, and Buildings and Landscapes.  She has presented lectures at numerous universities and museums, including University of Virginia, Muscarelle Museum of Art in Williamsburg, Virginia, and Drayton Hall in Charleston, South Carolina.
